Data Availability
In alignment with the guidelines established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), JKI requires authors to include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript.
This statement must clarify whether the underlying data supporting the study’s findings are accessible to the public. To ensure transparency
- If the data are available: Authors must provide details on how to access them, including relevant links, public repositories, DOIs, or accession numbers.
- If the data cannot be shared publicly (e.g., due to ethical, legal, or privacy restrictions involving sensitive patient information): Authors must explicitly explain these restrictions and specify the conditions under which access may be granted upon reasonable request.
